Pray for our paper, so we can go home!

Every Friday we always end our family calls in prayer together.

Our kids know we’re just waiting on the last paper (travel invite), so when we asked them how we could be praying for them the last two weeks, they all yelled in unison,

“Pray for our paper, so we can go home!!”

Melt our hearts.

God doesn’t waste anything. In our time Skyping over the last eight months, we have been able to build a relationship with our kids that fills them with excitement to come *home*. We know there is so much more to grow and build, but what a beautiful start the Lord has given to our family of five.

This week wasn’t the first time they called our house home, and it has been incredibly difficult to look our kids in the eyes each week and not be able to answer the question, “Mom, when are you coming to get us?” Or the question, “Dad, can you learn to fly like Superman and come pick us up now?” (A personal favorite )

We cannot begin to tell you how much we appreciate your prayers. Knowing that any day we could get *the call* to go get our sons is the best and hardest stage of this entire journey.

Each day we wake up with hope and anticipation, and each day we have to remember that our God is in control and that He is good. He can be trusted, and He can be trusted with the timing of bringing our babes home.

So to all of you who keep praying for us and checking on us: THANK YOU. We love and appreciate you all
